Chief Minister Mr. Nallari kiran kumar Reddy biography

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy was born 1960 september 13th in Hyderabad to Nallari Amarnath reddy and Sarojamma.

Kiran Kumar reddy basically hails from Nagaripalle in the Chittoor district in the Rayalaseema area of A.P.

He did his schooling in Hyderabad Public School and later did his B.Com in Nizams collge and LLB from the Osmania university.Incidentally Film actor Balakrishna and himself are classmates in the Nizams college when they were doing B.Com.He was the Ranji team captain during his college days and incidentally Mohammed Azharuddin and Harsh Boghle played under his captaincy in the Ranji team matches.

Kiran kumar reddy is married to Radhika reddy and has two children Nikhilesh reddy and Niharika reddy.He has two brothers Santhosh reddy and Kishore kumar reddy.

Kiran kumar reddy come from a political Family background .His father Nallari Amarnath reddy served as a Congress MLA for the Vayalpad constituency in Chittoor district for more than nine years and was also a minister.

After his father expired Kiran kumar reddy entered the political fray and represented Vayalpad constituency first in 1989 and later served two terms as an MLA from the same constituency.He was made Chief Whip of the Congress from 2004-2009.In 2009 his Vayalpadu constituency was dissolved in the reorganization and later Kiran Kumar reddy contested from the Pileru constituency in 2009 and became the Speaker of the Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly with the blessings of YSR.

Kiran kumar reddy was known for his balanced nature and conducted the A.P assembly sessions with vigour and impartiality when he was the speaker.He is known for his counter attacks on the opposition parties especially TDP when he was the chief whip from 2004-2009.

Out of five times he contested for the legislative assembly he has won four terms as a MLA(three terms from Vayalpad and One term from pileru in 2009).Kiran kumar's deft handling of the situation with the resignations of the MLA's during the telangana turmoil has scored him many brownie points from Congress High command which probably catapulted him to the Chief Minister's post.

For Kiran Kumar reddy as the 16th Chief Minister of A.P it is not going to be an easy job and definitely would not be a cake walk.He has many issues to tackle and problems which are waiting for him.
